The 2016 Rio Olympic games are on, meaning equestrians are currently competing on their biggest stage. This may be pure viewing gold for horse lovers, but let’s face it. The average American loathes the inclusion of equestrian in the Olympics.

Meanwhile Horse People the Internet over prepare for battle, demanding appreciation for the danger, dedication and serious athletic prowess of equestrian sports. Yet, again, let’s face it: it’s not really working.
