There is perhaps no greater New Year’s Day tradition than the Rose Parade. And while most think this event is all about the flowers, equestrians know that this is also a world famous horse parade!
Yesterday, the equestrian units – including mules, donkeys, ponies and miniature horses – of the Rose Parade were on display at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center, during the annual Equestfest presented by Wells Fargo. At Equestfest, the horses and riders of the parade are able to show off their special skills, including drills, roping and trick riding, as well as their unique style of tack, attire and horse breeds to an eager audience. Not to mention attendees can shop an extensive vendor court.
