By far the biggest horse show on the calendar this weekend is the Longines Global Champions Tour Championship Final in Doha. The final takes place at the state-of-the-art AL SHAQAB Equestrian Centre and features some of the biggest names in show jumping the world over. The final is shaping up to be photo finish between leaders Ludger Beerbaum (GER), Scott Brash (GBR) and Rolf-Göran Bengtsson (SWE).

You can catch up on all the action and outrageously beautiful venues that made up the 2014 Longines Global Champions Tour with this video, then head out to Qatar for all the action!

Oh wait, you can’t make it Qatar this weekend? I’m very surprised to hear that… Okay, okay.   All kidding aside, while the Championship Final in Doha is the biggest event on the calendar, Sin City won’t be outdone that easily. Also on the slate for this weekend is The Las Vegas National, aka The Best Show In Vegas.

The Las Vegas National offers up three night of top notch Grand Prix show jumping, including the FEI Welcome Jumper Classic, held last night and won by Vinton Karrasch and Coral Reef Baloufino, the Las Vegas 1.35 Speed Classic on Friday evening, and the $75,000 Las Vegas Grand Prix, a World Cup Qualifier, on Saturday evening. The Rider list is also quite impressive, with the likes of Reed Kessler, Lucy Davis, Richard Fellers, Charlie Jayne, Georgina Bloomberg, Jos Verlooy, and Harrie Smolders on hand just to name a few.

And, like any good trip to Vegas, you come for the event but will want to stay for the atmosphere. This Friday, in particular promises to be a fun time all around with JustWorld International hosting a Horseless Horse Show and the opportunity to decorate a jump that will be used during the Friday Night Speed Class. Then, Friday night is Barn Spirit Night at the Vegas National! The more barn spirit you show the more tickets you’ll get for the raffle: each person who attends will get 1 ticket; each person dressed in Barn Spirit wear will get 5 tickets; and when a barn group sits together with a total of 25 people or more, each person will get 10 tickets! And you want these tickets. The amazing prizes include: A pair of all-session tickets to the 2015 FEI World Cup Show Jumping Final in Las Vegas, 3 fabulous gift baskets from WC Equestrian valued at $1,000, $750 and $500, and more! Come back on Saturday night to see if you are a winner.

But (oh no!), what if you can’t make it to Las Vegas either this weekend? Good news! The USEF Network is live streaming all the action for free right here: USEF Network. So far the coverage is getting rave reviews, and not just for the equestrian action. The music pumping into the arena is truly fantastic! But really, would you expect any less from Las Vegas?
