Are you a horse girl? Do you love a horse girl or (eek!) hate one? The opinion of horse girls in popular culture runs the gamut from spoiled brat to mental patient, but for artist and director Rebecca Manley they are simply something lovely.
Manley’s sand on glass short film “The Girl & the Horse” was most famously screened at the National Gallery London in conjunction with the Stubbs and the Horse exhibition. This weekend we offer it up to the Counter-Canter Culture crowd as a reminder of the purity that often underlies human-horse relationships.
