Top Riders Try A Little Cosplay For Charity

LA Masters Banner editSpecial Report: Live From The Los Angeles Master

Few things can cause more equestrian social media buzz than top and celebrity riders jumping courses in crazy costumes. And that is exactly the action that the Los Angeles Masters brought to the world on Saturday evening.

Big names in the equestrian business, like Laura Kraut, Beezie Madden and Rodrigo Pessoa, paired up with celebrity superstars like Hannah Selleck, Jessica Springsteen and Kaley Cuoco in the Pro-Am Charity Speed Challenge. The costumes celebrated popular movie like “Grease” and “The Fast And The Furious,” the California lifestyles of the hippies and the surfer dudes, and even Katy Perry’s “California Girls.”

For me, this newly crowned California girl (aka Rodrigo Pessoa) stole the show.

As for speed, the spoils went to the team of Laura Kraut and Hannah Selleck, who took the arena as the amazing Catwoman and Poison Ivy of Batman fame, and rode for JustWorld International.
