Rev Up Your Weekend With Some Horse Power

100 Sound Logo Final

Songs that lend a voice to the equestrian world in a way only music can.

This week’s 100% Sound playlist, Go Ahead, Jump – Music for the 2014 World Equestrian Games in Normandy, features The Chemical Brother’s highly equestrian track, “Horse Power.” This tune, equipped with horse whinnies and all, is from the duo’s Further album. All 8 tracks from that album are accompanied by corresponding films, made specifically to match them, by Adam Smith and Marcus Lyal.

Not surprisingly, the “Horse Power” film features a horse, but the kind of horse is what’s exciting. This paper horse that comes together as the track progresses looks antique and futuristic all at the same time. And when it’s several stories high on The Chemical Brothers’ live performance stage, it is nothing short of radiant.

So, go ahead and let The Chemical Brothers’ powerful horse light up your holiday weekend! The first video is the official music film and the second is “Horse Power” preformed live at Glastonbury.
